Whipped: Skin Care Tips

I can't believe I'm on my late 20s! Time flies fast - my priorities changes, little by little B&W clothes replaces my colorful wardrobe, I had to double up my skin care regimen and that I should take good care of my skin even more this time.

I agree that make-up can hide some flaws and with the right products, it can enhance your features and even get your glow on! But do you really want your real skin to hide all the time?  Whipped taught me so many things about skin care and I'm sharing you some tips on how to achieve that perfect glow!

1. Want to have that clean and clear skin? Learn how to scrub and get rid of your impurities and dead skin cells. It even out your skin tone as well, removing dark patches. It helps lightening unwanted body marks or scars.

2. Exfoliate with the right products. It will make your skin feel like porcelain and will become rosy and will achieve that glow.

3. One of the main reason why your skin doesn't look nice is because it lacks hydration. Drink plenty of water and see how that simple act can do wonders.

4. Have you tried waxing? Leave it to the professional if you're not comfortable doing it alone. Shaving is not good for the skin, fyi.

5. Don't get serviced for waxing when you're peeling. It can cause your skin to bleed, damage and irritated. Our skin naturally exfoliates itself. Don't overdo or push it to do more.

and lastly

6. Display confidence. Do not neglect your appearance. If you have it, flaunt it!

Monster Energy’s Conor McGregor Two-Division UFC Champion

Monster Energy’s Conor McGregor Makes History By Knocking Out Eddie Alvarez to
Claim His Second Title and Is the First Fighter to Become a Two-Division UFC Champion

Monster Energy’s Tyron Woodley Retains His Welterweight Title After Majority Draw in 'Fight of the Night'

New York, NY – November 14, 2016 – Monster Energy’s Conor “The Notorious” McGregor backed up his boasts and made history by knocking out Eddie Alvarez in round two, and winning the lightweight title to become the first UFC fighter to hold two titles simultaneously at the highly anticipated debut at historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. In addition, teammateTyron “The Chosen One” Woodley retained his welterweight title after fighting to a majority draw against Stephen Thompson.

The featherweight champion, McGregor added to his legacy and legend with a wholly dominant victory, knocking out Eddie Alvarez at 3:04 of the second round to become the lightweight champion at UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden, before his adoring and rabid Irish and US fans.

The monumental sell-out event headlined by McGregor will go down as the biggest event in the history of MMA with record-breaking crowds and box-office records for UFC and Madison Square Garden now that UFC is live and legal in New York.McGregor delivered with a shockingly lopsided destruction of highly skilled veteran opponent Alvarez.

A confident Alvarez came at McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) with early low kicks to start round one, but as he advancedMcGregor countered with his deadly left hand and promptly dropped Alvarez to the canvas. While Alvarez sprang to his feet, his confidence was clearly shaken and McGregor’s Octagon control and accuracy would lead to two-more knockdowns in the first three minutes of the fight.

Alvarez (28-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) narrowly escaped round one, and McGregor opened the second with a stinging left hand. “The Underground King” kept his feet under him, and for a moment Alvarez had some momentum landing a right and bullyingMcGregor against the cage. McGregor’s superb takedown defense and a quick reverse of the fence spelled the end for Alvarez. McGregor assumed the center of the Octagon and countered an Alvarez strike with a debilitating left cross and picture-perfect combination, putting the
lightweight champ to the mat with a TKO stoppage.

In typical McGregor fashion after the fight he reinforced what he’d stated before the fight that he wasn’t one bit surprised and “they are not at my level.”

“They have to have size, reach, length…you have got to have some attributes.  If you come in any way equal to me I am going to rip your head off, it happens every time. “Eddie is a solid competitor, Eddie is a warrior, but he shouldn't have been in here with me and that's just the truth of it,” said McGregor.

McGregor announced at the post-fight news conference he is expecting his first child in early 2017 and intends to take a break until then.

Welterweight champion and Monster energy athlete Woodley retained his title as he and challenger Thompson fought to a majority draw and ‘Fight of the Night’ award. Woodley who came in as the belt holding underdog caught Thompson with hard strikes and took him down for most of round one, landing vicious ground and pound with both fists and elbows.

In round four Woodley knocked Thompson down and looked like he was in route to a TKO stoppage until sinking in a deep standing guillotine on Thompson, and then taking that guillotine to the ground. Amazingly, Thompson survived Woodley’s choke and controlled much of the fight when the two warriors were on their feet. The judges ultimately scored the five-round fight 47-47, 47-47 and 48-47 in Woodley’s favor resulting in a majority draw. UFC President Dana White said, “An immediate rematch makes sense.” This is only the third time in UFC history that a title fight ended in a tie.

Conor “The Notorious” McGregor and Tyron “The Chosen One” Woodley are Monster Energy’s elite UFC athletes along with Chris “The All American” Weidman, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, Dominick “Dominator” Cruz, Jon “Bones” Jones, Daniel Cormier, Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey, Cain Velasquez, and Anthony “Showtime” Pettis.

Party Toques: The Food Platter Expert

I got hungry right away as I type and upload these photos from my blog post.
I bet you know why.. These foodies are mouth-watering and delish as it looks, what more when you order and experience the taste?

I was invited by two head chefs, Chef Rob Lau and Chef Mike Toledo for their Food tasting Party Launch as they introduce - Party Toques: The Food Platter Expert! It's a party tray division from their existing

Chef Mike, Chef Rob Lau and Chef Diane
The talented people behind Party Toques

Party Toques is headed by Chef Mike.  It's amazing that their friendship led to this business that we believe, will definitely boom in no time. Their goal is to bring the fine dining experience to our home with these tasty set of platters. It's really good when you want to lessen the hassle of going to fancy restaurants since they can deliver everything once you order. They have 4-6 pax and 8x10 pax platters as of the moment which will definitely be a big hit with group of friends! Plus they offer different choices of foods from Asian, Japanese, Indian specialties - you name it!

Here's a very classy dinner set-up for us bloggers/social media influencers

One of my favorite! They have this sandwich for starters as we wait for the other bloggers to arrive. It's super long that it can serve up to 20 persons. I personally pick this one for those healthy eaters. It has prawn eggs and veggies so it's super yummy! I love eggs, btw.

Sushi Platter
(4-6 Pax) Php850
(8-10 Pax) Php1,110
Oh, I love their sushi combinations and the well-cooked rice! It has  both classic and modern take on sushi. I easily get full so I tried just two of these and it never disappoint. It includes California, ebi, miso salmon, beef tapa, spam, longganisa and daing na bangus!

Persian Beef Kebab
(4-6 Pax) Php1,110
(8-10 Pax) Php1,600
Seems like everything's my favorite, haha! But this one got my taste buds crazier. Kebabs are usually served with basmati rice but they paired it with tortilla wraps and tzatziki. It's one of the best combination, ever.

Miso Baked Salmon with Eggplant
(8x10 Pax) Php 1,595
If you have a guest or friend who's a seafood lover and wanted to have a more healthier food choice, order this one in no doubt. They  can eat the Norweigan salmon dish alone. But for me, I'd love to pair it with rice! The eggplant on the side makes it a good combo, too.

Valencia Roasted Chicken with Paella Rice
(8-10 Pax) Php 1,100
I was overwhelmed with the chicken - so big and tender! I did not get some rice since you know, I easily get full.
But I can still remember how tender the chicken. It has a separate sauce but it was so tasty even without any condiments!

Chicken Biryani with Rice Pillaf
(8x10 Pax) Php 1,240
It's an Indian dish with meat dish topped with dried fruits and cashews. The smell is quite enticing, that I can't explain. It has this minty fragrant that makes it even more tasty.

Pad Thai Pork Glass Noodle
(8-10 Pax) Php 1,180
I'm not a fan of Thai Noodles so I didn't appreciate it that much. Though I knew it would sure be a hit for noodle lovers!

Nasi Goreng with Kropek
Ohh! This is the first time I ate Nazi Goreng with Kropek. I never knew it was good, uhmm great actually!

And of course, the desserts!

Green Tea and Hojita Serradura
No sugar-coating intended, I love all the desserts! I can finish this in one sitting, actually. haha!

Oreo and Chocnut Serradura
Love this one to death!
Btw, serradura is also known as Sawdust pudding which shows a layered look with a simple combination of whipped cream and biscuit or graham.

Red Velvet Banana cupcake

Hazel Chocolate cupcake

Mango and Black Sessame Tiramisu
This one's new to my taste and is A-ok to my taste buds!

Green Matcha Cream Cupcake

Serves best with wine!
