Look and Feel your Best with Whipped!

Most of my friends are asking me to share my thoughts about my skin care regimen and anything I teach from my talk/seminar to schools. I'm happy to share how I look and feel best with this tips so here's a part of it in this blog entry..

1.   Have a good hair and face regimen. For the face it’s wash, tone, moisturize. Do this everyday, don't skip.  Avoid using too much products. Make sure you choose the right one fit for your skin not just because they're cheap or someone just gave it to you. Remember, you're doing this for yourself.

2. Proper oral care. You sweat out the smell of the food you eat. (Omg, I swear, avoid strong smelling foods) Example, spicy foods. Always bring Tictac or mint inside your bag. I prefer candies over gum. Chewing a gum for me is not classy.

3. Be aware of how you smell. Put deodorants, cologne or perfume.  For guys, if you feel sweaty or oily , dab baby powder for instant feeling of freshness.

4. Do not groom in public. Even a quick touch up of your lippie – everything should be done in the restroom.  

5. Let your hair dry before going out. It might attract dust and particles easily. There are hair myths that aren't true as well, like sleeping with wet hair will not damage your eyes and pulling out gray hair wont make it multiply – it’s just a bad habit.

6. Avoid shaving your unwanted hairs on your own, leave it to the pros. Shaving have a lot of disadvantages on your skin. Try cold waxing and see for yourself. Whipped offers caramel scrubbin before having it waxed so it will soften and whiten your skin as well. 

Your appearance is very powerful. It can dictate the way people treat you, and the way they perceive you. 

Remember, good grooming is a sign of maturity. It is a sign of respect for yourself, your body, gracefulness and is a trademark of who you are.

Dare to Get Whipped

A lot of people are wondering why I rarely repeat clothes. I don't actually know, either. 

Maybe because I love to change my style from time to time. I can be girly-girl today, laid back tomorrow, then all posh the next day. It depends on my mood. (and the occasion, of course)

All I know is I love being comfortable and happy with the way I dress-up. 

But the question is, how can I pull off my outfit If I had to consider hiding my flaws? (Like when I forgot to strip off the hair on my balbon legs, etc)

Some of you might not consider waxing since you can shave it anyway. But that's definitely a no, no! I discovered that shaving is really not friendly with our skin. I can attest since I've been shaving my legs and underams for years and the result is really unflattering. 

Now, I'm not sugar coating what Whipped can do with our skin but with so many months that they've been taking care of my skin, I see a big difference from before. Years from now, I'll reach the big 3-0. And as early as now, I already have to choose brands and services that'll will definitely benefit me when the time comes.

Choosing Clothes with Whipped

Choosing what clothes to wear might take hours to most girls. You have to undergo series of outfit changes only to end up, wearing an outfit that looks so put together and uncomfy. Sometimes we also consider our flaws. We have to avoid clothes in big sizes, skimpy dresses and horizontal stripes since it might make us look bigger, or not wearing shorts and skirts cause we have to hide our unwaxed legs! Oops!

For last month's Ootd for Whipped, I opted for a short dress - very comfy and laid back. Of course, with my favorite piece of clothing, Denim. 

The magic to a relaxed style is a well-stocked wardrobe. I guess I'm into comfort over style now. Signs of aging, maybe. Haha! Ok, just adulting.

So happy, Whipped is always there to help me widen my clothing choices! I can wear whatever clothes I like since I know my skin is smooth and hair-free!

Whipped: Skin Care Tips

I can't believe I'm on my late 20s! Time flies fast - my priorities changes, little by little B&W clothes replaces my colorful wardrobe, I had to double up my skin care regimen and that I should take good care of my skin even more this time.

I agree that make-up can hide some flaws and with the right products, it can enhance your features and even get your glow on! But do you really want your real skin to hide all the time?  Whipped taught me so many things about skin care and I'm sharing you some tips on how to achieve that perfect glow!

1. Want to have that clean and clear skin? Learn how to scrub and get rid of your impurities and dead skin cells. It even out your skin tone as well, removing dark patches. It helps lightening unwanted body marks or scars.

2. Exfoliate with the right products. It will make your skin feel like porcelain and will become rosy and will achieve that glow.

3. One of the main reason why your skin doesn't look nice is because it lacks hydration. Drink plenty of water and see how that simple act can do wonders.

4. Have you tried waxing? Leave it to the professional if you're not comfortable doing it alone. Shaving is not good for the skin, fyi.

5. Don't get serviced for waxing when you're peeling. It can cause your skin to bleed, damage and irritated. Our skin naturally exfoliates itself. Don't overdo or push it to do more.

6. Display confidence. Do not neglect your appearance. If you have it, flaunt it!

I got Whipped! (Caramel Scrubbin: Underarm)

Being a girl, we all got our fair share of bad hair days, breakouts, PMS-ing, times when we feel bloated thus making us lacking that extra confidence we need. You might think we can easily hide it and get to achieve that "Woke up like this" look and feel just by dabbing a shade of our favorite lippies, wearing our favorite clothes or cover our big eyebags just by putting concealer. Yet, we can't fake confidence and the feeling we wear whenever times like these happen. 

But what I've learned is there are always a place or something where we can revive those confidence. Good thing there's Whipped Salon.

This month, I visited their ATC Branch and tried their Underarm: Caramel Scrubbin' service.

Since it's already my second visit, I'm already comfortable with the friendly staff. They are all accommodating and keeps on giving me advices on how I can take care of my skin.

They started scrubbing my underarm first so the hairs will be very soft and easy to remove. It took them 10minutes to finish for both underarms. 

After scrubbing, they started to wax my underarm and pluck the excess hair and those super short ones that can't be removed by waxing. It can also whiten your skin so it's very advisable if you'll try this too and do this continuously.

I still can't get over how their cold waxing treatment feels no pain compare to other waxing salons.

Completely hair-free and I feel much much confident now with my smooth underarms. Thanks Whipped!
